Jamie Tromp

Jamie-TrompJamie first joined the Havlik Metcs Ltd team in 2010, and is now the firms’ research manager and a valued member of its negotiation team. She manages Havlik Metcs’ staff researchers and provides project management services including, contractor liaising, hiring process, and budget management. Jamie also manages client communication and reporting.

Prior to joining Havlik Metcs, Jamie worked at Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, Settlement Operations West (Residential Schools Sector) on the Post Resolution Shared Services team where she assisted Residential School Survivors with the final stages of their claims.

Jamie’s work for numerous individual First Nations and tribal councils has given her a broad perspective and deep understanding of the Federal Specific Claims research and settlement negotiation processes. In addition, Jamie has become well versed in the ever-changing and sometimes Byzantine world of Specific Claims research contribution funding and Specific Claims negotiation loan funding.
