With almost 20 years’ experience working in the Asia Pacific region in senior executive capacities for global financial services firms such as Bankers Trust Australia and Zurich Financial Services, Alexandra has an extensive background in strategic marketing, business development strategy and client communications, particularly in investment management and structured finance.
Alexandra’s specific expertise lies in designing and managing, complex marketing strategies through profound change. As founder and CEO of a specialized, socially responsible financial services firm, Alexandra managed multifaceted stakeholder relations between industry groups, national regulators, institutional and retail clients. With particular expertise in strategic planning communications, stakeholder relationship development, and change management, Alexandra simultaneously managed multiple investor relations programs, including a campaign for a successful $250 million capital-raising for a listed Australian Securities Exchange diversified finance firm.
Alexandra is passionate about using her diverse strategic background to deploy innovative solutions to address a range of social finance-oriented opportunities. To this end, Alexandra convened a national group of Australian institutional fund managers to investigate the potential of establishing an alternative asset “fund of funds” for pension funds to participate in early stage technology ventures. This formal initiative leveraged the Federal Government’s funding commitment to Australian Science and Technology and was chaired by the federally-appointed Chief Scientist for Australia.
